John Wick

John Wick VR Game Coming 2016

Remember John Wick, the 2014 action movie starring Keanu Reeves? It was apparently pretty good, so you might. Others might remember the character in PAYDAY 2. Well, Starbreeze—owner of Overkill Software, who made PAYDAY 2is working on a John Wick game for VR. Yeah, that doesn't really bode well. Hopefully it'll be playable without a VR headset, or maybe they'll be assholes about it and limit it to just the StarVR. More John Wick content will be added to PAYDAY 2, which will hopefully include Keanu Reeves as John Wick's voice actor—Dave Fouquette does a terrible Keanu Reeves impression.

World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft Subscriptions At The Lowest Point Since 2006

Though the game had over ten million subscribers back in November, Blizzard has announced that the game currently has 5.6 million subscribers, the lowest since 2006. They've lost 1.5 million since March, and at some point between here and then it probably dropped even lower—the release of the Fury of Hellfire expansion in June "probably helped stabilize the subscriber number." No reason is given by Blizzard as to why they could be losing so many players, but the word is among players that the fun of the "old WoW" has left the game. Whatever that means.

$1,000 Reward For Reproducing Super Mario 64 Glitch

Are you looking for $1,000? Do you want to sit at a computer playing Super Mario 64 over and over and over and over again, trying to find one specific glitch? Then this might be for you! Speedrunner pannenkoek20012 has put $1,000 up for someone who can reproduce a specific glitch in Super Mario 64 that might allow a portion of one of the levels to be skipped. All you need to do to claim the bounty is to record yourself performing the glitch in the Mupen 64 emulator. Easy!

Uncharted Movie Set For Summer 2017

The Uncharted movie, which has been in development for seven years at this point, has been pushed back again to 2017. The movie currently has no announced director and no announced casting details. Mark Wahlberg has reportedly been in the running, but no official announcement has ever been made. By the point they figure it out, we'll probably be looking at a third Five Nights at Freddy's movie.

Mighty No. 9 Delayed to Early 2016

Mighty No. 9, Keiji Inafune's spiritual successor to Mega Man, has been delayed until early 2016. While—according to them—all the core content is complete, there's still "bugs and issues" that they need to fix. But don't worry! I'm sure the game will be perfect when it comes out.

Meanwhile, Red Ash, Keiji Inafune's other spiritual successor to Mega Man, has failed to reach its funding goal on their Kickstarter. But Chinese OUYA clone manufacturer Fuze Entertainment has provided the funding for the prologue, Red Ash: The KalKanon Incident. And the Kickstarter for the anime was still successful! Maybe they should spend less time making new Kickstarter campaigns and more time fixing bugs? Just a thought.

Fallout 4

Fallout 4 Won't Have a Level Cap

In previous Fallout games, you were only supposed to get so far before you were basically forced to finish the game. Fallout 3 had a level cap of twenty to thirty, depending on whether or not you had the Broken Steel DLC. Fallout: New Vegas started at thirty, with each DLC raising the level cap by five. However, Fallout 4 won't have any level cap. The game doesn't end when you finish the main story, and you can continue exploring—and leveling up—as much as you want. It's a good thing that Bethesda is changing their level scaling system, so you won't be fighting off Fire Geckos at level 70.

Paradox's Next Grand Strategy Game Will Be Set In Space

Paradox Development Studio, well known for their grand strategy games like Crusader Kings II, have announced their next game—a space colonization strategy game called Stellaris. As far as anyone has said so far, it's looking like it's going to be a space version of Crusader Kings II. If anyone can figure out how to play it, I'm sure it'll be fantastic.
